Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of Tunisia. From the bustling capital city of Tunis to the ancient ruins of Carthage, and explore the rich history and traditions of this unique country. You will visit the grand mosque in Kairouan, known as the holiest city in Tunisia, and the oasis town of Tozeur, where you can take a camel ride through the desert. But our tour isn't just about the sights. We will also experience the vibrant culture of Tunisia through its cuisine, and art. You will have the opportunity to try traditional dishes at locals home and participate in cultural activities such as pottery and mosaic making. You will eat at a troglodyte home, explore berber communities, and spend a night under a tent in the desert under the beautiful star

Day 1: Tunis - Hammamet

On the first day of your tour, you will embark on a journey to discover the rich culture and history of Tunisia. You will be picked up from your location and taken on a visit of the medina of Tunis, where you will be transported back in time to the bustling capital city of the past. Next, you will visit the Carthage archaeological site, which is home to ancient baths and an amphitheater, where you can admire the stunning architecture and learn about the history of this fascinating country. After a visit to the picturesque Sidi Bou Said Village, you will have dinner and stay overnight in Hammamet.

Day 3: Tozeur - Chebika - Tamerza - Ong Jemal Mos Espa Village - Douz

​After breakfast, you will take a 4x4 drive to the oasis mountains of Chebika and Tamerza, and the location of the Star Wars movie filming, Ong Jemal. After a lunch break in Tozeur, you will continue your journey to Douz through the Chott El Jerid salt desert. Upon arrival, you can take an optional camel ride before having dinner and spending the night under a tent in the desert of Douz.

Day 5: Chenini - Djerba Island

​After breakfast, you will start an exclusive sightseeing of the island of Djerba. You will visit Houmet Souk and Guellela, known for its pottery, and the El Ghriba Synagogue, the oldest in Africa and a site of pilgrimage. After a lunch break, you will have dinner and spend the night in Djerba.

Day 7: Djerba Island - El Jem - Tunis

​On the final day of your tour, you will drive to El Jem and visit the Roman Amphitheater, one of the most impressive Roman remains in Africa. After a lunch break, you will return to your location in Tunis, completing your journey and taking with you memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 2: Hammamet - Kairouan - Tozeur

​On the second day, you will travel to Kairouan, the fourth holiest city of Islam. You will visit the Great Mosque and the Mausoleum of the Barber, which are among the best examples of Islamic architecture. After a lunch break, you will continue your journey to Tozeur, where you will visit the Medina and the open-air museum, Eden Palm, to learn about the production of dates. In the evening, you will meet local artisans, sample some of the local date delicacies, and have dinner in Tozeur.

Day 4: Douz - Matmata- Douiret Berber village

​On the fourth day, you will embark on a journey to Tamezret and visit the Berber Village known for its old dwellings, hidden caves, and abandoned oil mills. After a visit to Matmata, where you can experience the fascinating underground dwellings of the Berber Troglodytes and visit a typical local home, you will have lunch and continue towards Tataouine. You will then visit the Berber village of Douiret, where you will have dinner and stay overnight in a gite.

Day 6: Djerba Island

​On the sixth day, you will continue exploring the island of Djerba, visiting more fascinating sites and immersing yourself in the rich culture of Tunisia. After breakfast, you will spend the day discovering all that the island has to offer before having dinner and spending another night in Djerba.
